Our first girls trip! As you grow older you gain an independence to have actually trip with friends (or as I like to call them the family you pick. Keep in mind I am related to two of the people on this trip. With my sister graduating and my birthday come up we decided it was the perfect time for our first girl trip we been planning since last year.
We diced to hit the Happiest place on earth Disneyland, and Disney California for the weekend. We luck out and got two nice warm days ( it's been rain and cold in the bay.) so we were able to spend the day enjoying mint julep in the warm sun, followed by other amazing Disneyland food. (Jumbo turkey legs anyone ?)
Since we were already in Southern California we decided to branch out from the park and hit up Horchaeria for horchata inspired food like horchata coffee, (Yes I got an extra large!) we also got horchata ice cream in a concha.
Our last day in Southern California we decided to head out of Anaheim for more food! We went to DoughBoys the brunch was amazing. Since we're close we hit the grove for some shopping, and since we found out when we were in Paris in December that Ladurée opened a store in Los Angeles we got macaron and some pressed juice to start the detox after a weekend of unhealthy-ish eating .
Now time to get back on track and star my next goal before my birthday in April get back into my healthy balance eating.
